Victory at last in eSuperligaen
We beat Hobro IK 7-2 and unfortunately lost on the rule of away goals versus Randers FC. An acceptable week and now the team seems hungry for more.
Frederik Rom have played some great games in this year’s eSuperliga, but the overall results haven’t gone our way until now. Therefore we stand 13th. After eight rounds.
Tamer and Rom played both matches this week, and they showed, that we’ve got the abilities to be among the best in the league, when we hit the top level.
Against Hobro Tamer won 3-1 away versus Lynge while Rom made it 4-1 against Bech. Both players scored some amazing goals, and the commentators started wondering how our team couldn’t be part of the topteams, because we played at a very good level.
The match against the favorites from Randers were also incredibly close.
Frederik Rom started away versus Al-Bacha. He managed to score a goal and got an acceptable 1-1 result. Tamer then played a thrilling match versus HassanPlayer which finished 2-2 and unfortunately we lost on the rule of away-goals.
Rom is pretty satisfied about the games:
– I think we played two good matches. Against Hobro, we some good offensive tendencies. Against Randers we knew that they are two good offensive players, and therefore it became a little more defensive from our point, but we still scored 3 goals against them, unfortunately the match ended 3-3 overall and again away goals were decisive, Rom says.
Frederik Rom think the team is going in the right direction after some difficult weeks in the eSuperliga:
– I definitely think we’ve improved as a team. We have become better at supporting each other both on and off the pitch. I also think we’ve got to know each other better, so we know when to talk and when to just play, the 16-year-old Rom explains.
Now we stand with four points after eight matches and are ranked 13th. in the league with eight points to AaB who stands 8th. However, Rom hopes the team can accumulate enough points to reach the Finals:
– Of course, our chances for the top 8 doesn’t look bright, but 7 rounds still remains and everything can happen. Obviously, we have the level and the team to get in the top 8. So we just have to step up in the last 7 rounds and get as many points as possible, he says.
The team will meet Esbjerg and Silkeborg next week.
