The CS:GO team qualifies for ESEA Main playoffs

AGF Esport has qualified for the playoffs in the international tournament, ESEA. Another big result for the team, according to coach Rasmus “FaagaN” Møller.

The ESEA Lan is the only international tournament in which we participate, and that’s one of the reasons why it’s so important to qualify for the playoffs. More than 120 teams participate in this tournament, and coach Rasmus ‘FaagaN’ Møller is very proud after qualifying.

– Actually, I’m both proud and surprised that we qualified. AGF Esport haven’t missed a single playoff yet, but we started out losing some matches, so it was a bit of a fight to get back among the top teams. But we started controlling the games better, and now we are qualified, which is one of our main goals this season, ‘FaagaN’ says.

The first match in the playoffs is against Revelation Gaming. A team who beat us earlier this season in overtime, but this time AGF Esport should be better prepared according to the coach.

– Revelation Gaming is our opponent and this time I think we will have the upper hand against them. We have seen a lot of progress in our performances this season, and we have expanded our mappool, which means we can control more games, Rasmus ‘FaagaN’ Møller explains.

– Our ambition is to beat Revelation Gaming and be promoted to the Advanced Series for the next season. Last season we just missed that qualification, so now that’s the big goal. If we are promoted we will have opportunities to play better opponents and play at a higher level, so it would be perfect for the team, ‘FaagaN’ concludes.

The match against Revelation Gaming takes place Tuesday the 27. of November at 8 PM.
