PrimeTurbo – Why the eSuperliga has surprised me

Lars ‘PrimeTurbo’ Korreborg is positively surprised by the overall level in the eSuperliga. The league creates a great environment for young talents to develop says the coach.

With six rounds of the eSuperliga, AGF finds themselves almost at the top of the league, currently holding second place behind FCK. Coach and player Lars ‘PrimeTurbo’ Korreborg is happy with the team’s performances against Lyngby BK and Vendsyssel FF.

– I saw the performance as good, but we have to improve if we’re going to be challenging for the title. We play some fine FIFA, and have scored 39 goals in 6 rounds, which is the highest number in the league, and if we look on the results, we can be happy, but we have to be even better.

The coach elaborates further.

We need to improve our control of the match. We’re throwing to much away, so we have to learn to control a match without being passive, give easy balls to the opponent and make mistakes. We need to be dominating even though we lead by 2-3 goals and keep on playing our offensive game, and close down in the defense. We haven’t got a clean sheet yet in one match, which is a bit disappointing, but we’re working on that, says ‘PrimeTurbo’

‘PrimeTurbo’ is positively surprised by the level and the setup in the eSuperliga.

– The level has surprised me in a positive way. I didn’t expect it to be so intense and fun to watch. The setup has developed to be much better, and I love the work of the people behind the scenes. New talents also watch the eSuperliga, and people know of FIFA now, which help them to get out of their rooms to play more seriously at national tournaments. In a few years the level in Denmark will be absolutely crazy, and we’re working hard to be the first to spot the brightest talents first.

AGF will meet FC Midtjylland and Brøndby IF in round seven and eight which will be played Monday and Tuesday night next week.
