PrimeTurbo – I’m pleased with our performances
The third and fourth round of the eSuperliga resulted in a win and a loss for AGF.
A third-place spot in the table and nine points is the reality for AGF after four rounds of the eSuperliga. Coach Lars ‘PrimeTurbo’ Korreborg is happy about that picture.
– I think our start went as planned. 9 points in the first 4 games is really great when you look at the teams we have played against.
The coach urges his players to be focused and not be too confident about the situation.
– It’s looking good towards getting in top 8, but we have to respect the other teams, and still take this seriously. We can’t allow overconfidence, and we will make sure it doesn’t become a factor.
The victory against FC Helsingør was secured in the second match when FIFAÜstun won with the impressive figures 8-1. PrimeTurbo played the first match, and thus his first of the tournament, but unfortunately it ended in defeat.
– I saw a tactical performance by myself. I didn’t have enough believe to go forward, so I was determined not to lose by more than one, because I was sure that Fatih would win with at least 2 goals. He won with 7 in an 8-1 win. So that was a fantastic performance, and he scored a contender to goal of the season. So happy for Fatih. I still have a lot of hard work to do, tells the coach.
The match against FCK in the fourth round was set by many fans to be the match of the round. The guys did put up a good fight, but the favorites from FCK was too much in the end. The coach was happy about the performances, despite the loss.
– I’m quite happy about the performance. We were just one away goal from a win, but with that said, I think I could have prepared our players better for the game, and made a different decision in the coin toss, but we’re here to learn, so we know that for next time. The boys did what they could, so the loss was totally on my shoulder. We will bounce back on Monday, says the Coach.
Round five and six are set to be played on Monday and Tuesday night. The opponents will be Lyngby BK and Vendsyssel FF.
