FaagaN: A lot to play for at the moment

We’re in a decisive time of the season as both Powerligaen, ESEA Advanced and Winners League are in their final stages. Here FaagaN analyzes the team’s performances and comment on our new signings.

This week we’ve played three games in ESEA Advanced, and it was some important ones, as our new players Fr0slev and HECTOz got their debut in the rooster.

– It went quite well. We beat Nordavind whom I think is the best team in Norway. After that we lost in overtime against Buzzkill from England. It was a game, where it was clear that we hadn’t had the chance to practice with our new setup as we missed some deals and lacked communication in some situations. But it’s actually a positive thing, as it is something we can adjust quite easily, FaagaN says.

After those games we met Arena Bulls from Turkey. We beat them easily and overall it’s been a fine run in ESEA Advanced so far. We’re 35. in the standings and got fine chances to qualify for the playoffs. Next week three games awaits.

– We’re are going to play Tricked Esport next week. They are one of the best, so it would be a huge scalp, if we beat them. We also face RUNUP and Wisla Plock and I hope we can claim the wins here, FaagaN says.

Firepower makes the difference

We also participates in Winners League, where we qualified for the knockout stage through a group game earlier this spring.

– We claimed a victory against the Russian side, famous5. It’s clear, that we’ve got more firepower in our team, as many situations just seemed more fluent, as the players take the chances and their duels in a very mature way, the coach explains.

Fr0slev and HECTOz were added to the team to raise our general level, and the coach has been pleased after one week with the new guys:

– HECTOz brings an extremely high individual level. He has a lot of good spirit and his energy and his desire to learn is very motivating for the team, FaagaN explains.

Fr0slev has played for ex-fragsters and unknown before joining our team, and he contributes with a calm and mature approach to the game:

– He brings a lot of experience and stability. He’s our strong anchor, who stands behind everyone and delivers every time, the coach says.

The Winners League knock out stage is one match – best of three, and we’re one match from the quarter finals. After that everything can happen according to the coach:

– If we win our next game, we’ve good cards on our hands to qualify for a spot in the invite divisions, where several professional teams also participate so there are a lot to play for at the moment, he says.

Next task for our white army is in Powerligaen in which we play on Monday versus Ignite.
