FaagaN: Top four seems difficult now
The CS:GO-team strives to be part of the top four in Powerligaen, but after losing versus Ambrush it’s up to other results if we’re going to qualify according to coach FaagaN.
We stand third in Powerligaen, but have played more games than our competitors, and this week we lost 16-2 versus Ambrush who is our direct opponent in the chase for top four. FaagaN thinks it’s going to be a difficult task to reach the playoffs now:
– When I look at the table I think we have to be lucky and hope for the right results in other matches if we are to qualify for the playoffs. If Ambrush wins their last game, they will take our spot in top four. We can only do our job by winning our last game, and hope for the right results, the coach explains.
The team have lost four and won four while Vantage, Ambrush and Atlando got the same number of wins, but they’ve only played seven games. We started this week by winning versus HDE.hype, but the team had difficulties finding their game in their next battle:
– When we play more games in the same day it’s sometimes difficult, because the teams are very different levelwise. We got an easy victory versus HDE.hype and after that we couldn’t find the right level for the topgame against Ambrush. They are in a process and are changing their line-up, and they played without any pressure. We thought it would be a good thing for us, that they’re changing their team, but instead they made it a positive thing as they played with more freedom and hit all their shots, FaagaN tells.
Next up is Vantage, and the coach believes we will claim the victory in this one:
– We’ve beaten them a couple of times and I think we are favorites in this game. We want to finish this tournament in a good way and place a maximum of pressure on Ambrush, FaagaN says.
The Match versus Vantage is played on Monday. We also participates in winners league – next match is april the 19th versus WildFire Gaming.
