eSuperliga preview: Round 12, 13 and 14
Our three last games in eSuperligaen Season 2 await and our players will do everything to show that the team doesn’t belong where they are in the table right now. Sønderjyske, Lyngby and Vejle are the opponents and even though we are underdogs according to the bookmakers we’ll fight for every chance to tease the favorites.
AGF – Sønderjyske, B-stream at Dplay, 9:45 PM on Tuesday
Sønderjyske is one of the teams we really want to beat this season. They haven’t had their best season and last season they finished 15th. so we’ve got a good opportunity to take three points here.
The team is the same as last season – Banzy, Rabeck and Østergaard represent the blue colors, and they stand 11th in the table.
Banzy is a calm player who always wait for the opponent to make a move, while Rabeck is a more direct player and always try to get a shot as fast as possible. Our players can do both as we’ve seen Tamer and Rom improve in their possession game this season. Let’s hope the guys can take down the guys from the south.
Their goal difference is -23 and they’ve scored 31 goal while our goal difference is -13 and we’ve scored 35 goals. We stand 15th right now, but all our games have been close, so let’s hope we’ll get the victory on Tuesday.
Lyngby BK – AGF, B-stream at Dplay, 7:15 PM on Wednesday
Lyngby BK has established their own eSport-department called Lyngby Vikings.
Our CS:GO-team has played them and now our FIFA-guys have to beat them.
Lyngby was in the battle for top eight for a long time, but their good results have disappeared and they’ve lost their last five games. Tamer, Rom, Krøll and Korreborg will give everything they got to deny them the three points and maybe get the chance to go past them in the league.
Last season they finished 6th. and they had ambitions to reach the Playoffs and improve this season, but their hopes slowly disappeared when they started losing many games in a row.
Andreas Kaalby and Aldin Ismajlovic are on the team sheet again, and three other players have joined since season 1. Mohammed “Mudi” Hamze has joined as a player after being too young in the first season, just like Lucas Krøll at our team. Then they’ve got two new faces in Maher “TeamHajj” Hajj (who is loaned from R288) and Mehmet Karabacak. Mikkel Haller has continued as a coach.
A professional setup and some good players. We have to find our best game to beat them, but we’ve played some really good games this season, so we’ve high hopes for this one.
Vejle BK – AGF, A-stream at Dplay and Canal 9, 9:30 PM on Wednesday
Vejle BK is among the favorites to qualify for the finals. LordHjort, JoeFromDenmark, Esser, Mr. Lillelys and Arrow represent the team and they stand 5th. in the league before this last round.
We have to keep an eye on LordHjort as he is their keyplayer and topscorer. He has scored 22 goals and conceded 12 in 9 matches. Arrow is likely to be the other opponent as he has played nine matches and scored 16 goals.
This season hasn’t been the season we hoped for and Korreborg and co. just need to show their love to the game and play for the honor in this last game of the Season 2 in eSuperligaen. We’ve played some amazing games, but have always had problems winning overall and that is the reason why we aren’t in the top eight right now.
All our players have shown great potential and it’s only FCK who beat us in a superior way – all other games have been incredibly close. So let’s hope we can make a surprise and finish this season with a win.
