Blaq is looking forward to Copenhagen Games

Andreas ‘blaq’ Elversøe is our in-game leader and he hopes that the team can make some great results at this weeks Copenhagens Games.

On Wednesday our CS:GO-team plays at the Copenhagen Games which is one of the biggest stages to perform for a team like ours.

Elversøe and his crew wants to show the world, that AGF Esport is ready to compete with the best in Denmark:

– The goal is to get some results that proves that we’ve got the level that is required to be in the Danish top 10. It’s all about cooperation and mindset, and we have to be at 100 percent in every second of the game, Elversøe tells.

The team just finished fifth in Powerligaen, and have performed pretty well this spring. They qualified for Esea Advanced next season and now the team will be eager to perform well at one of the highlights of the season:

– We want to play some of the teams who are in the top 10 in Denmark, and we want to beat them. We will show that we’re one of the Danish top teams and Copenhagen Games is a perfect window to show the world that we’re where we belong, the in-game leader explains.

When asked about Copenhagen Games and what it means to him, blaq gets really excited:

– Copenhagen Games is cult, it’s new, it’s terrible and fantastic. It got it all. There is fine facilities and it offers teams like ours an opportunity to show what we can do. The coordinators are experienced in planning eSport-events and there are big prizes, which attracts better teams, so overall you just get a lot of good CS:GO in this package, he tells.

Besides the prizes, the teams compete to qualify for international tournaments and the event is considered the largest Counter Strike event on Danish soil.

– Now I’m just looking forward to play and share the successes with my teammates. I’m happy to meet people in the gamer environment and get some great experiences, but what I want the most is basically to play. I get bored if we are not in the middle of the heat, Elversøe says.

The event takes place at Lokomotivværkstedet in Copenhagen from Wednesday to Saturday. You can buy your ticket here >>>
